My name is Daniel Micheli, and I was born in July 1981. As I grew up in Vorarlberg, I spent my childhood on skis. As a child I loved taking part in skiing competitions, but the untouched slopes soon become more interesting for me and it finally pulled me up into the mountains. My fascination was so huge that I started the education as a ski and snowboard instructor which I finished as a certified snowboard guide. Certified snowboard instructor is the highest form of education one can reach in this field of work. Since then I’ve been guiding my guests through the untouched mountain areas, always enjoying what I do. I try to give my clients the feeling of freedom, always keeping the inevitable risks in mind. In my leisure time I enjoy climbing- no matter if it’s rock climbing or ice climbing- ascending the top of a mountain is always a new and challenging adventure.
